Darey was co-host (along with Sade Baderinwa) at the THISDAY Nigeria at 50 awards, held yesterday at the THISDAY Dome in Abuja. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and immediate past Ghanaian president John Kuffour were also in attendance. Others guests included Aliko Dangote, Adams Oshiomole, Donald Duke, Dele Momodu and former Nigerian Heads of State Shehu Shagari and Muhamadu Buhari.
It was also at the THISDAY awards last year, that Darey met Bill Clinton.

Sources say Darey’s label Soul Muzik (Chaired by Dick Griffey of SOLAR records fame) plans to release his first US album before mid-year.

Darey if you want to sell make good music and network with people in the Music industry. Nobody cares that you TOOK a picture with President Bush. Espeially since you co-hosted the awards.
