NET Now In Print

May 9, 2010

Less than five months after launching entertainmet news website www.theNETng.com, BlackHouse Media, Nigeria’s leading media solutions company has debuted with a print version of the journal.

NET Newspaper, which has been described by industry watchers and readers as Nigeria’s first 100% entertainment newspaper, first hit the stands on Monday April 26, 2010 with a special 16-page tribute to late rapper Dagrin who passed on Thursday April 22.

A second edition comes out this week.

NET Newspaper is  a 16 -paged, full colour tabloid parading the biggest entertainment news, exciting features and reviews, plus major scoop you won’t find anywhere else.

‘It’s a dream come true’, says Ayeni Adekunle, CEO of BlackHouse Media, owners of NET.

‘The entertainment industry in Nigeria is growing rapidly, and it’s about time the industry is reported and covered properly and adequately; as compared to the few pages the general interest newspapers manage to dedicate from Friday to Sunday’.

‘We will cover the industry fairly and accurately; delivering news content of superior value to our readers, while using our platform to help further develop the entertainment industry in Nigeria’ Ayeni, who’s a respected writer and entertainment analyst said on Sunday.

www.theNETng.com and NET newspaper will be run as independent platforms, although they will share content from time to time. www.theNETng.com will continue in its role as Nigeria’s fastest entertainment breaking news service, and the most trusted website for all you need to know about happenings within the entertainment scene in Nigeria. NET Newspaper brings a refreshing angle to entertainment reporting on the newstands; while catering for a segment of the public often taken for granted by the general interest papers.

Both www.theNETng.com and NET Newspaper are owned and run by BlackHouse Media Group (formerly A.Y.E.N.I. Entertainment).
