Five years after kicking off her music career with the debut album ‘Gba’, Nollywood star Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is now getting ready to release her second body of work.
The 31 year-old mother-of-four has teamed up with Now Muzik and a Lagos-based PR firm to restart her music career, as she rounds up work on the album that has taken years to complete.
Omotola’s first album was released on the Sound Factory imprint. But her reps say the new CD will not be on the label. Tentatively titled ‘Feel Alright’, Omotola’s new album, sources say, parades tracks like ‘through the barren land’, ‘get busy’ and the already released ‘Feel Alright’.
The album is scheduled for an October release date. Her debut album was released on October 2, 2005.
‘I’m giving music a lot of time now. More dedication, because it demands a lot’ she told NET in an interview.
There was Ruggedman and OJB and others on ‘Gba’. Who to look out for on the upcoming album? Harrisong, Paul Play, Mode 9, and more, as you’ll soon find out…
