Minjin Adewale Lawson first came to prominence when he was cast as Troy in the internationally-acclaimed Disney High School Musical that debuted in Nigeria in April 2010. Everything seemed to have worked in young Adewale’s favour – his looks, his voice and his acting prowess at the musicals drew special attention and accolades to him.
Therefore, it didn’t come as much of a surprise when last weekend, young Adewale emerged winner of Kennis Music’s talent hunt – Centage Super Star. With his Centage Super Star prize – brand new Toyota Prado jeep, 2 million naira cash and a 10 million naira record deal, Mr Lawson has just been begun his road to stardom.
