Dipp Is The Future, Come Take A Peek…

Its 1:00am, I just finished seeing this music video and ten minutes later, I’m still sitting on my chair feeling like…wow…yeah, just wow. After seeing the Matrix Trilogy I thought the future had ‘come and gone’ but alas, I thought wrong, the future hasn’t come yet but trust (Amazing) Dipp to bring it in very soon.

After experiencing widespread acclaim and grabbing a SoundCity Music Video Award for the visually thrilling Dangerous, the ace dancer seems to have somewhat dipped under the radar (pun intended), failing to keep the initial momentum going, but all that might well be about to change in the space of 5 minutes and 38 seconds. The video for Dipp’s single - Pop off Selecta may have just hit the ground a few days ago, but I can already see it running.

Despite the song itself being an average one, the same can’t be said about the video. Innovative director, Mex (the same guy responsible for the aforementioned Dangerous, Djinee’s OverKilling and M.I’s Safe) does what he has proven time and again to be the best at; creating special effects that make your feet gyre. Mex really walks us into the future with the sci-fi settings of this video and the slick, ground-shattering effects make for rather entertaining viewing.

If you are one of those who believed ‘Dangerous Dipp‘ was a bit too unoriginal with his dance steps, then now is the perfect time to turn off your sets. With the video for Pop Off Selecta, Dipp, his Usher-esque dance moves and his P Square-ish demeanor, are all hot stepping to the top of the charts and without remorse too!

So while The Future isn’t here yet, it’s very much on its way.
