House of Gingah
Terry G speaks the mind of the Lagos people, and by that I don’t mean the inmates of Yaba Left but the average Lagosian trying to get by. If only there were more ways for commuters to dash between Lagos Island and the mainland and vice-versa maybe, just maybe, the debilitating traffic in the metropolis would be kept to a minimum but alas, if wishes were bridges, Lagosians would ride.
That hasn’t stopped Terry G from wishing however, and on his posse House of Ginjah’s debut album, the indefatigable hit maker has dreams of building an 8th Mainland Bridge and he wont be stopped! So, there to lend a helping hand are House of Ginjah – a five-man clique comprising D Money (Terry G’s younger brother), Prince Banton (dancehall artist) and rappers I.Q. and Rakwell and last but not least, Terry G himself.
Terry might be flying high, and I mean that in more ways than one, but that’s no guarantee that his newly-assembled squad will get off the ground as well; talent is very much like most airline tickets in this country, non-transferable. But making it to the top and reaching back to give your musically-inclined brethren a helping hand isn’t a pattern Terry G started, it’s a time-honored tradition. So today NET takes a walk down not-so-distant memory lane to recall 5 successful stars who tried to put their partners ‘on the game’ with varying levels of success, but only after tasting some fame themselves.
Will Terry G and his House of Ginjah be successful or will they slip off Mainland Bridge bridge and sink into the lagoon they intend to cross over? We’ll leave it to you to rate their chance of survival.

I bought House of Ginger debut album 4 weeks ago. The album is very nice. I see House of Ginger remaining on top bcos they are tight. I wish all my guys in Warri a funful weekend.
